Mr Bay is at it again, Transformers 4 is now out in theaters and looks to bring in millions of dollars just like his previous three films. The thing with Bay is I feel like most people don't like him and give his films a bad rep but does he deserve it?
Its possible, it depends on how you like your movies really, With transformers if you are looking for a bigger than life, blow crap up and just straight shinny fast pace action than you might be someone who enjoys what Bay has given us with Transformers.
As the films have come and gone so has the story and cast, Transformers 4 is not a reboot as some had expected but still a sequel to the other three films. They have to a point updated the cast and characters from the previous films tho.
Shia is no more and our lead is now a Dad trying to keep his daughter on a straight line to a better life than he had, Mark Whalburg is not someone i enjoy by any means. Most of my friends see a film with Marky Mark in it and they already know how my feelings will be towards him.
But this time around i really can't blame him, He never really botherd me in this, Nor did his daughter or any of the human characters, I felt as if they did TRY to make this more human based and give it more of a soul than the previous films(Which i believe they made note of that within the film its self as well) but i just found myself bored that the focus was on these characters i just can't get into.
Kelsey Grammar plays the CIA Agent who's hunting down the Autobots and i did think he played a pretty cool bad guy and his acting was fine and it might have been some of the better in the film. But the stand out for me is Stanley TUcci s i enjoy anything he is in. I felt as if they tried to model him a little bit after Steve Jobs but maybe thats the geek in me. He had his serious side but transformed into the comedy character pretty fast, still enjoyable.
But besides them i feel like we had some characters pop in and out and i didn't really catch names besides maybe Shane played by Jack Reynor because he is our new boy toy i guess?
As for the transformers, they have gone into hiding since the events of the third film, which spoilers for the third film... All the Decepticons are dead. So we move on from them in this film which some might enjoy but others not so much, I don't think it bugged me that we had a transformers movie without them but the fact that what we are given is just basically the evil humans for some reason just bored me.
Humans building new transformers to better their world makes sense and is cool on paper but i feel like it just didn't work out here. In one scene Stanleys character says something that he had 50 prototypes or something along that line, well in the end battle it just dragged on with what felt like 100's of them.
Megatron is of course mentioned and they did acknowledge him as Galvatron which was nice but he has two scenes or so and feel as if they built him just to make sure he is in their pocket for the next film.
Besides for Galavtron i also feel like we didn't catch character names either which might not be a big deal to some but it just shows the lack of character given. Not to mention the few seconds of the Dinobots who never talk or anything and are just pets. But maybe they will be in the next film as well?
As my review is doing the movie just dragged on, it started with the spaceship scene and from that point on i feel as if i lost interest in the film. The ship scene started out fine because Lockdown is our main bad guy and he has his collection on board which means Grimlock so thats very awesome. But the next half hour or so in the dark blah spaceship with no name robots and dog things chasing our cast was just a bore to me.
The movie still had its fun set pieces after that with the battle in china but most of this was also shown on the previews but seeing it in full on eye melting pace was nice. its super shinny and things blow up which is what we want from summer movies.
But I still felt bored, I will not say i hated the movie but at the same time i don't remember the last time i just felt so blah after watching a movie.
It just seemed so tossed together and jumping around from character to character, talk about this and that and then move on. I do feel as if they tried to build towards a new series? or more films anyways.
I feel as if I'm having a hard time reviewing this movie, What was your take? Did you hate it? Love it? or felt just kinda blah like me?

Microsoft, Sony & Nintendo E3 thoughts
Well E3 might not be over but the Big stuff has all but been shown off now that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo have wrapped up this main shows. Of course they can still show off stuff during the week and we will hear about stuff shown behind closed doors and everything.
This write up is just about what we have already seen from the Main 3 and what they plan to bring to the table in the near(or not so near) future.
I know I already did a little round up on Microsoft but i figured i might as well go more in depth(or just repeat myself who knows) than ignore some details. You can always decide what you want to read :)
One thing I will get out of the way Now instead of bringing it up in both Microsoft and Sony areas is it is we can all agree we are slowly moving away from exclusive third party games. It seems we are only getting exclusive content or timed releases, It really does bug me tho. I don't see why they have to do content for only one system. I do get it that maybe they will re release it later on another system for maybe a price but sometimes we never see it on the other systems.
That is a huge bummer for folks that only have a PS4 but have to wait for the timed DLC of Advanced Warfare or wait for INSIDE to come to PS4. Or say you only have an Xbox One and have to wait for or give snubbed on Destiny content. This isn't a nice thing to do to your fans, People who spend money on your content.
But i know some folks will disagree and be like its awesome because i own a *blank* so screw your *blank* but really it is just annoying. But i guess it is a way to keep the console wars alive. Anyways...
Microsoft came out first and it was a very nice surprise to see them focus only on video games. I know last year a lot of people got upset with their Kinect talk and TV talk, let alone the whole old way of the Xbox One that we won't get into for obvious reasons.
This was a whole new year and new start for Microsoft and they did it by showing gamer what they want. Games.
Call of Duty might not be your thing, or honestly my thing but Microsoft knows it is a seller and Advanced Warfare brings their system the timed exclusive DLC that Xboxs fans seem to be accustom to now. Advanced Warfare was not really a shocking or new title to be shown off but it is a little different than previous CoD titles. It has that slight Killzone or Titanfall feel to it but does over all keep the CoDness that most people love. I might not be excited because Im more so sick of the franchise but i can see myself still giving it a try.
Forza 5 had a second in the spot light as Microsoft announced a free track for its fans, nice little thing to do. But the big deal was the announcement of(what had already leaked out) Forza Horizon 2! Of course being a racer it also won't be for everyone but I myself don't really enjoy the race type games but i loved and even beat the first Horizon on 360. So no doubt the second one has peaked my interest but i have to say I'm a little let down it is on 360 as well and not a straight Xbox One title like Forza 5 was. Hopefully this won't take anything away from the game. Nice to hear it is in 1080p as well, Not that it makes that big of deal to me but i know some folks do care.
Evolve was next up and they showed off their Chuthulu monster which looked pretty sweet, I really like the Left 4 Dead kind of game, the team work style. I still hope we see more monsters added in because something does seem to be lacking for me but the game does look very fun.
Assassin's Creed Unity was shown off first at the Microsoft presser(or well it of course leaked out before hand as well) and it didn't really impress me much as I don't find myself a fan of the series. I enjoy the idea of the co-op as adding a friend or two is always a plus. But this showing left me going meh more so than anything, Later on during Ubisofts show i have to say i was far more impressed with their title. Might have to look into the series yet again.
Dragon Age Inquisition was another title that was talked about during Microsoft presser but we saw a lot more during EA's more appropriate reveal of the game. They teased us with cameos of other characters and some pretty videos. During the gameplay footage they showed i found myself distracted at the horrible UI/HUD and just found myself wondering if that will find itself into the final release of the game, I sure hope not.
Sunset overdrive was something i had already said what really needed to be said in my last post but just in case you may have not read that i will make a shorter version: System seller. Fun. Shinny. EXTREME!
Dead Rising 3 was the main Xbox One system seller or well the first for me and it is always cool to see more content for the game but what Capcom showed off was one crazy cluster Beep of a video. But it happened to still be awesome. Being out now is also very cool but the best part? The name Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Alpha!
Disney Fantasia and Dance Central both got some slight love as well, funny tho because Microsoft never let the world Kinect slip out, kind of sad but whatever, Fantasia should still be a pretty awesome title over all and i actually look forward to it.
Fable Legends was shown off with a 4 player Co-Op bs 1 player as a villain gameplay video, Neat and all but for some reason i just don't care all that much for it at this point in time. I do like the whole D&D feeling i got from watching the villain play and set up enemies to attack the 4 heroes. The beta comes this fall. But i wanted more info than we got.
Project Spark I will keep short since not much more i can add from the previous post. Screw you Rare fans! No new real conked game for you! But please enjoy Project Spark and see what you can build in this Microsoft version of a LittleBigPLanet like title. Im not a big builder but it could still be super fun.
Halo: Master Chief Collection is coming November 11 and will include Halo 1-4 which is the "real" halo series and focus on well Master Chief. it have the first halo remake as well as Halo 2 all remastered, it still allows you to switch back and fourth between the old and new as well. It will include over 100 multiplayer maps! That alone makes me want to play it. I loved so many go the original maps, Hell Halo 2 might be my favorite shooter of all time. Will also be in 1080p and 60FPS, also in a little mini announcement it will come with a live action series from Ridley Scott called "Nightfall" Plus 4,000 achievement points baby!
Halo 5: Guardians was brought up once more, this time showing old Master chief watching himself from the past? or something? Im not too sure but it still looks odd but more than likely enjoyable. Not much was said but we will have a Multiplayer beta this holiday season.
Ori and the Blind Forest might be my favorite thing that Microsoft showed off, its super cute with a Anime like design that is just beautiful. It also reminds me of a 2d version of what the Last Guardian might be like if we ever get that title. Either way I want to play Ori really bad.
INSIDE will be a "First on Xbox" title form the same studios that brought us Limbo, Playdead studios. They showed off a beautifully creepy in game yet scripted demo.
ID@Xbox was up next with multiple titles shown off that include Below and Mighty No. 9, they showed off over 15 titles. Indie games are def becoming the new mainstream games it seems.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was shown as a CGI clip, pretty and i want it now. but its listed as a Holiday 2015 title with a horrible name.
The Witcher 3 from CD Project RED showed off more in-engine gameplay video in their crazy open world. Looks very nice and should be a nut buy for RPG/explorer fans.
Phantom Dust was announced by Ken lobb, the man behind Killer Instinct reboot, he debuted a CGI teaser and let us know it will be Xbox One only.
The Division showed up and looked pretty nice and Ubisoft later showed it look even better. I still fear it might be too strategy based for me but man is it cool looking and the videos we saw just make me want it now and not in 2015.
Scalebound was shown off from Platinum Games, it was all CGI teaser but it got the giant monster vs little man action a crossed, for folks who enjoy monster hunter i feel like this might be that kind of title. But too early to really tell.
Finally we end with the announcement of Crackdown 3, which is nice and all but we didn't get any gameplay, it did look like it was scripted in game engine tho so thats nice. I was a huge fan of Crackdown and was one of my favorites on the Xbox 360, looking forward to what they can bring us on the Xbox One.
On to Sony's presser, Which man do they know how to talk! They by far upstaged Microsoft in the vocal part of the show but i did find it funny and i won't talk about it much at all but the fact that Sony wasn't JUST games, they took some time to talk stats and TV, which by the way the POWERS segment was horrible and i love everyone involved. But this whole half hour or whatever it was made the show crash for me, but lets get to the games.
No shock that Destiny was the salt to rub in Microsofts wound. You know Bungie has great fun in making Microsoft the lesser company when it comes to their next game "Destiny" as we find out its first on playstation and the beta starts next month. Of course there is also exclusive content on the PS4 as well. The game of course looks really fun and really good looking. It is funny how much you can tell it is still Bungie tho, even in the new showings it screams Halo to me. Not that its a bad thing, it will (we hope) be a deeper and bigger version. Also announced a White PS4 with the game.
The Order 1886 was next, which looks really great but i have to say man was it dark, even on my TV it was hard to make out things at times. Wasn't sure if it was scripted gameplay or not i believe so. It reminded me of some classic resident evil tho which was nice. Love the outfits/settings they have shown us thus far. Should be a great title for Sony.
Entwined was one crazy artistic beauty, I really want to give this a try and the best part of this whole showing was the fact that it is out now on the PS store! I still have that $10 from when i bought my PS4 so i might have finally found something to use it on.
I always enjoy when companies come back to titles the fans love, Infamous Second Son might not be a title i have had the pleasure to play yet but it is at the top of my Gamefly list still, We saw in engine story teaser for upcoming DLC to keep the adventure going.
The shock of the night for Sony was the fact that MM actually lied to us all and showed up at E3 with LittleBigPLanet 3 in hand and showed off some gameplay. I do have to say when the logo popped up on the screen the crowd actually got excited which was really the first time in the night for that, so nice change. They showed off some new characters and what changes are coming to LBP3 but we all have to agree they still seem to have some wonky controls as even the testers seemed to have problems while playing it. Still will be super fun and a possible system seller for some folks.
Fun seeing a new IP which was from Worldwide Studios, Not sure what to say since we got about nothing. But hope that new IPs do well is always something on my mind.
Bloodborne came out after we had some a nice time will LBP3 so the mood changed right away, which was kind of odd and funny but here we jump into the violent action that the creators of Dark Souls plan to release on us some time in 2015. It had a really fun and creepy CGI trailer that might have been In engine footage.
Far Cry 4 seemed to be the show stealer for most folks, but i hate to say i have not really gotten into the previous games. Given i never gave 3 a try so maybe i should. But FC4 looks pretty solid like the idea of being someplace in the Himalayas in an open world style shooter. Big deal was showing off the Co-op and crazy awesome Elephants! The big news in my eyes was the fact that you can invite friends who do NOT own the game to come play with you on PS4, That is pretty sweet. Wonder how it will effect sells or if they have some limits on it.
Dead Island 2 was next up with a fun and enjoyable yet very bright and seemingly gory CG teaser for the next title. Will more than likely have a comedy side to it after seeing this teaser. But not much to say besides I'm kinda surprised they are just going with Dead Island 2 and not something else.
They touched on both The Last of Us and Diablo 3 coming to PS4 later this year. Both should have slight graphical upgrades but not much else was talked about.
Battlefield Hardline gave us a gameplay trailer, not much different from what we had already seen earlier in the day.
Disney Infinity was talked about as well, I believe they said Hulk was exclusive to playstation? It was quick and HULK SMASH!
Magicka 2: Learn to Spell Again was shown off pretty quickly as well, telling us it is coming to PS4.
Maybe the biggest news from Sony & Friends is the fact that after years of asking and finally giving up thinking people would never see it.... GRIM FANDANGO is coming back baby! In a remastered exclusive to PS4 and wait for it....wait for it..... VITA! Cant wait to play on my Vita.
Next was Sony doing the whole Indie showcase deal and stuff flashed by super fast Broforce, Hotline Miami 2 an other stuff, Should be some fun games coming. Consider most of PS4 games(for sure PS+ anyways) has been based on Indie games it was no shock to see all of this tossed in our faces.
Let it Die seemed to be a mix of Live action and in engine trailer of some super violent fighting game from Suda 51. It will be an exclusive PS4 game i skip over, Unless something awesome is shown at a later date.
Abzu might be my game of Sony showing, the guys that brought us Journey have a new title that is just as beautiful and hopefully fun as the previous title. Another game i want right now.
No Man's Sky was pretty crazy in multiple ways. So bright and vibrant with crazy colors my eyes didn't know what to do or what i was watching but the in engine gameplay looked pretty cool going from planet to space in some FPS style game. Im not sure how much i liked the space battle stuff but the rest looks awesome. Plus they stated that every plater starts on a new planet. Should be a solid game.
They showed off some new mini games for the Playroom and a good amount of new "Free to play" games coming this year including PLanetside 2.
PSNow open beta on July 31 and PS3 & Vita shortly after, I have to said I'm excited for the Vita beta but from what i have heard titles are slim and poor and what they showed off during the presser wasn't much better. It will grow, we hope.
PS TV was touched on, which i could have sworn it was Vita TV at first? and the specs have changed a bit, being able to play PS4 on a second TV i guess? sounds cooler than i remember when it hit Japan last year. Price is pretty solid at $99 if it lives up to the little hype.
Mortal Kombat X debuted gameplay footage and some crazy fatalities. Im super excited for this title after the last MK and Injustice.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in engine trailer which was the preview we saw the night before(which they joked about i believe) was pretty shinny and i loved the music they picked. Im not a huge fan of the series but i know fans can't wait to get their hands on it.
Grand Theft Auto 5 will be coming to the new systems later this fall, which we knew was coming. But still pretty cool news.
Batman Arkham Knight showed us some awesome open world crazy scale batman action with working bat mobile. Sadly the game ended up crashing pretty hardcore. I didn't like how the bat mobile transformed into some Halo like tank. Nor do i care for the Iron Man bat suit but rocksteady made some awesome batman games and i will give them my money whenever it comes out, as long as they fix the crazy bugs that ruined this showing. Playstation will once again get exclusive missions, Scarecrow Nightmare.
We finally end with the not so shocking "Captured on PS4" footage of the next Uncharted. Sounds and looks really nice, just wonder how close to gameplay this preview was?
That was it for Sony, They did well showing a lot of stuff and talking for ever but at least they had more energy when they spoke to the audiences that previous companies.
Tuesday finally comes around and Nintendo is here to show the world why they still belong in the E3 buzz.
Starting the show off with some fun Robot Chicken style animation and actually keeping that in the show in mini segments was awesome. Really fun an funny I would love to see more.
Smash Bros was of course the first things we see and Nintendo announced that Mii Fighter has joined the battle, Finally you can play as yourself in Smash Bros. It comes in 3 styles a Brawler, A sword fighter and a Gunner. Looked pretty cool for being a Mii. They also showed off the 3DS version with different game modes and lots of customization.
They nicely tossed in the little Skylander like figures in the Smash Bro preview and next they announced them as "Amiibo" figures. They use the same tech as the other series, Skylanders and Infinity. You will be able to upload your stats to the Amiibo its self and take it to a friends house or a tournament? Can be used as a fighter in Smash Bros and support for Mario Kart 8 will be added at a later point. The figures do look a little flimsy for kids but looks nice for people who want to collect them. Now can we get a crazy Pokemon version?
Yoshi's Wooly World was up next and had the creatures in a store full of wool/yarn it was fun and they showed off a stuffed animal yoshi that looks really close to how he is in game. The graphics are awesome for what they are. Suppose to be out in 2015.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was announced and actually has me looking forward some treasure hunting with my little buddy toad. It looks like the mini games from Super Mario 3D World. Which i very much enjoyed and look forward to a full game based around it. 2015 as well.
The Legend of Zelda. Yes. Oh Yes. They gave us a quick glance at a horse with "link" on it in a vast open world that looks amazing, very much has that Skyrim feel to it. Talked about how in this title you can explore in different areas and not be stuck to one path like previous titles. Kind of reminded me of the last 3DS versions option. They ended with a scripted scene but looks very cool, also might have been either a very girly Link or well Zelda herself. they say 2015...but we shall see.
They had a very cool live action video that was for the remake of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire that will be coming out for the 3DS, looks like Mega Evolves will be showing up on it as well. Remade like X & Y.
Bayonetta 2 had yet another E3 video... When will this game ever come out? Was neat seeing Samus and Zelda skins. Also will have the first game bundled with it. It finally caught my eye a little bit.
Hyrule Warriors had the creatures tell us how nervous they had been to start this project but hope fans of both series will come together to enjoy this game. I have my doubt as I was not a fan of the Warriors series but seeing other characters from the Zelda series was pretty sweet. 2 Player but no Split screen was a bit lame. Coming THIS YEAR! 9/29/14
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse showed off a little demo and looks to give us a reason to own the gamepad. Should be super fun as Epic yard and the DS title. No date given, I'd say long way off.
Xenoblade Chronicles X had in engine cutscenes trying to make us care for the story. Will no doubt make the fans of the series get a Wii U and maybe grab a few peoples attention.
Mario Maker was officially announced in which you can create your own Mario levels. You can play in either classic or the New 3d side scrolling style. Looked neat but I'm not much of a builder so Im not sure how this will work for me. no date.
Splatoon might have been the shock of the day as seeing Nintendo might have a new IP well worth buying. 4v4 online multiplayer game about territories in which you must cover the land in your teams color. You play as a Squid human thing that can swim in its ink/color to travel and hide. You will find your self walking pretty slow in another teams Ink/Color as well. Looks so neat and super fun. Let down that it might not have any way to do local multiplayer as id love to play this with my other half. 2015.
We end with more Smash Bros and we find out that Palutena joins the battle, Also teased Dark Kit.
Miyamoto talked about the Gamepad and what not saying we will find out more about nintendo at later events in the week called "TreeHouse Live" but other wise that is it for nintendo!
I know this was a pretty long write up but i figured why not? I didn't cover EA or Ubisoft in it but i might write up other thoughts still before the weeks over, Or not?
What was your favorite show? Favorite Game? Anything you are scared of? Sad not to see something?
Till Next time, Watch, Game & Release your mind
This write up is just about what we have already seen from the Main 3 and what they plan to bring to the table in the near(or not so near) future.
I know I already did a little round up on Microsoft but i figured i might as well go more in depth(or just repeat myself who knows) than ignore some details. You can always decide what you want to read :)

Microsoft round up 2014
Microsoft came out with games, games and some more games. Which is totally fine with me. Stuff that i found enjoyable and look forward to from Microsoft or what we have seen from their press conference.
I won't lie, I have not played much of my Forza 5 but giving us free content is always nice. Ive always been a fan of Nurburgring and glad to see it coming to Forza 5, For free!
Forza Horizon 2 on the other hand i can't wait for, Shocked to see that it is set to release on September 30th, We knew it would also hit the xbox 360 which is the one thing that does indeed make me a little sad. It might not be a full on Xbox One title but i will buy it and enjoy the beauty of 1080p 30 FPS shinny cars going all crazy.
I have never been a big fan of the Assassin's Creed series, I had just beat the first one this past Extra Life(the game only took me a few years to beat) with the first one being a massive let down i never really got around to playing the other games in the series. I know this makes me a horrible person and I can't talk much about the new AC "Unity" but i do have to chuckle at them almost admitting the game is too hard... So we will give you co-op! Which jokes aside adding in the Co-Op I think thats awesome and might make me play this one.
Dragon Age Inquisition is already something I was looking forward to and the snippet we got during Microsofts presser was neat and enjoyable, They will have premiere content on the Xbox One first, so thats why we saw it here first.
Sunset Overdrive almost was a let down because i for some reason didn't expect to see gameplay footage but thankfully we did! It looks like a dead rising meets board lands and like just stuff i want to play right now! October 28th seems far away. Should be a very fun and enjoyable game.
Dance Central had a quick mention but the kinect did not. Which was interesting and slightly sad.
Fable Legends is something i honestly thought had already come out or i just feel like it was old news, Not much to this game got me wanting it but i did like the whole dungeon master/evil mode was neat to see.
The new Dead Rising game might have the greatest name in video game history...Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX. Looks dumb and fun.
Halo Master Chief collection is going to be a must buy for myself and i hope my friends will play the Halo 2 multiplayer with me, Also having so many maps that is so cool. Add in you will be getting 4 games for the price of one(or cheaper?) Plus 4k achievement points? Oh hell yeah!
Project Spark still looks very fun and enjoyable, Im not too sure i will actually play it because for some odd reason i never really get into the games that are based around creating things. I did laugh out loud at the giant F you Rare fans with the little "we are too lazy to make a conker game" at the end of the video.
One of the things I will be awaiting for is the new 2D game from Moon Studios " Ori and The Blind Forest" it looks so cute with its almost Studio Ghibli like design and the whole thing reminds me of The Last Guardian. Either way I can't wait to play this game.
Another title i will gladly be buying is the new game from the guys who made Limbo. They know how to make creepy settings and amazing sounds. Looking forward to INSIDE whenever it comes out.
One of my favorite games of last year was Tomb Raider, So of course with the new game being shown off i can't wait for the journey to continue. Of course i was a bit sad that it isn't gameplay footage but that was not a surprise by any means. The name however is horrible. The Rise of the Tomb Raider!
Phantom Dust isn't a title i found myself really knowing much besides the name so i can't be hyped for it. But i like that Microsoft is looking to bring back older titles to give them another shot.
The Division looks like a giant win. I am a bit nervous it will be too strategy oriented for me. But it looks beautiful and it is also a multiplayer i hope friends will play as a team and not just try and run and gun.
Scalebound looks nice, I don't know much about it but nice to see a fresh IP for Microsoft. I honestly thought it was maybe a newer Monster Hunter series. I might have to look into playing this whenever it hits.
Crackdown 3 ended the show with just an awesome CGI tease but at least we know it is real and i wish it was closer to release, or even see real footage. I was shocked that this really ended the show for us.
Halo 5 beta comes out this December, I didn't really go into Halo 5 details just because At this moment I really don't find myself as hyped for it as i thought i would be. But you know i will end up playing it and more than likely when it is released.
That is about it from Xbox, Not to be taken lightly as they gave us ALOT to swallow in that hour and a half, Not to mention they also had plenty of other indie games they quickly glanced over. But over all a solid show and makes me look forward to Sony and Nintendo.

Hope for E3
E3 is one of my favorite times of the year, I know its not really the same as it has been in the past. With Nintendo going with their Nintendo Direct videos, Which honestly are great because we don't have any hiccups and everything runs smooth. They don't have the same "stage time" to shine like some of the other companies do.
Or the fact that so many titles leak out earlier than they should. That always kind of puts a bit of a damper on E3, its suppose to be about the surprises and pure shock of seeing something the same time as everyone else(because we all know we all stop doing whatever we are doing jus to watch E3!) or even some stuff the companies release on their own to kind of get it out of the way, Think of Microsoft and the Kinectless bundle.
Either way we all know that this should be a HUGE year, it is the first E3 since the "Next Gen" has landed. Not counting the Wii U of course, But this should still be a big year for Nintendo as well.
Everyone is in a fighting stance to try and get momentum in this new war, so who will make you join their army come this weeks E3 event?
My Predictions for the show might not be ground breaking or crazy but it is things I would love to see happen.
Nintendo:
We all know Nintendo needs something, anything to get them more sells on the Wii U. Mario Kart is a start but now we need Super Smash Bros and with that a release date.
We will find out that the 3DS version will hit August 8th! Well of course I'm just pulling that out of my backside... But Nintendo does enjoy releasing their titles on a weekend, it Could also hit on a sunday instead of a friday. But I believe we will see Smash Bros on the 3DS towards the end of summer(which they had said summer at one point)
But when will we see Smash Bros for the Wii U is the real question, Nintendo had said that it would be later in the year after the 3DS release, which I think is a bit of a let down but I understand they want sells on both systems and they think the gap might help with that. So with that said we will see a date for Smash U on November 7th.
Thats all pretty well known stuff but how about other titles from Nintendo? What would I love to see?
Luigi has had his moments as of late but i feel it is time he has a huge impact and in true form. Thus.... LUIGIS MANSION2 for the Wii U!
I wouldn't be too shocked to hear about a new Star Fox instead of a Metroid game at the event. I think both could end up being fun Wii U titles are of course way over due. Yoshi's Yarn should be shown off some more along with Pokemon remakes.
One thing I always wait to shock me and make my E3 is a Wii U Pokemon game, I would love a full 3d world on the home system, I know the creators have said in the past that the Pocket Monsters will stay in your pocket but I just know that if this was made it would be a Mega Seller for the Wii U.
Last but not least the new Zelda will be shown off in all its beauty, but it will be a long way off, even if they say Holiday 2015, we know that won't happen.
Sony won most of E3 last year just on the fact that they stuck it to Microsoft, This year Sony really needs to truly focus on games and get things out there for people, Both the Vita and PS4 need titles and I feel as if Sony has been a bit on the stale side as of late. I love my Vita and can't wait to hear if they have anything in their pocket for the handheld.
Uncharted of course will be one of the major titles for Sony this year, But I think Sony will end up with a major title on their stage like Fall out 4, or something similar to what Microsoft has kind of done with the Call of Duty series(or GTA a few years back) and brag about how it is better on the PS4.
I do not expect a Last of Us 2 at this E3 but I kind of expect something else from Naughty Dog in the shape of something new, Not Jak & Dexter or LoU.
I do expect more PC/Steam hits to come to Sony platforms first, They have something amazing going with PS+ and most do seem to be Indie games for Vita & PS4 so i wouldnt be shocked to see more of that being thrown in our faces.
Playstation NOW should be a huge thing at E3, even over Virtual reality stuff. What is the price point? How many and what games will we be able to play at the start and when do they plan to add new titles? Monthly? Give us info on PSNOW.
Will they end the show on something crazy like a Crash Bandicoot or will it be about PS+? I kind of think Sony will end with PS+ because it can focus more on the NOW to sell systems.
Microsoft:
I think they might be the hardest to focus on because they don't have a handheld, they might ignore the kinect & TV stuff, they don't have virtual reality. So it really should be all games for Microsoft. But i have to say I'm a bit nervous that it will end up being either all Third Party stuff with say Halo/Fable/Gears tossed in between to fluff up their show.
I would love to walk away super stoked for Microsoft because i typically enjoy the Xbox family more than Nintendo and Sony's. But I believe they have a steep hill to climb over for me to be excited.
E3 will(hopefully) be packed full of news and surprises & I already have alot listed above but this should make it easier:

Future of Nintendo
Today Nintendo had a surprise "Nintendo Direct" in which they talked about the upcoming Mario Kart 8 release, That includes a new Wii U bundle that they hope will bring them sells.
The new Wii U Mario Kart 8 bundle will include a red Wii U wheel and one of the very cute and neat Mario Wii Remote's, along with the 32GB Black systems. They didn't go all out and make a real special edition system but they still made a $330 bundle to hoping get some Mario fans on the "Next Gen" wagon.
They also announced that, for the folks who already bought a Wii U that when you buy a copy of Mario Kart 8 you will receive a free digital download for one of four Wii U games, New Super Mario Bros U, The Wind Waker HD(Which i really need to pick up so this is nice to hear), Pikmin 3 or the Wii Party U. For folks in Europe the games are different( Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Nintendo Land, Wonderful 101, Sonic Lost world, Mario & Sonic winter games and the Game and Wario collection) I believe that is a nice gesture from Nintendo, But is it enough?
The Wii U has its issues as any Nintendo system will have, always a step behind the big boys of Sony and Microsoft, but Nintendo has slowly started to listen to its fanboys. The online side of things has started to become something and Mario Kart 8 looks to help that as well.
What about their Tablet?
Most consumers don't realize that the Wii U is a newer Nintendo system and not just a Tablet add on for their Wii, They don't see the need to spend so much money on some tablet. But its not news of any kind that Nintendo's marketing has been horrible for the Wii U, Can they fix this? or will they possibly ignore it by removing the Tablet from its bundles?
They could if they wanted or needed to, remove the tablet from the system and lower the price to try and gain some speed on the other companies, No one really seems to be in that Touch mode in the home system fight. Smart glass is not used in the same way and Sony seems to have just ignored the feature as well.
I already own a Wii U and I must admit i have not really used the tablet for much besides getting kind of annoyed when I find myself looking at it instead of my beautiful TV while playing Mario 3d World with my other half. The second screen is neat at times but everyone admits that nintendo has yet to really use it to its full potential.
Even with upcoming games such as Mario Kart 8 it seems Nintendo has bailed on its own baby so early in this generation. It is neat for a map and such but it seems to fail to be much more, Yes it is early they could still develop something but can Nintendo wait much longer? They need to sell systems and a lower bundle without the tablet could help boost sells, Or they could promote the titles(and system) they already have out.
But what if Nintendo fails? If all hope is lost. Mario Kart no Smash Brothers really bring in the sells that they have hoped for?
Would Nintendo turn their focus away from the home systems and just to their handheld market? the 3DS has come into its own with several great titles of the last 2 years, They have a history in the market that they all but own.
Or maybe they will be bought out?
Could a company such as Apple come along and buy out our beloved Nintendo? Turn the home system into an Apple set top box that plays games, such as zelda and mario? Linked with the app store to bring other things to your TV as well?
Maybe Apple would shut down the home system and just focus on the handheld side of things, with the 3DS bringing in solid numbers still they could focus on that, But many people ask "What about the iPad and iPhone?" Could Apple let Nintendo have their handheld market place and have the eShop bring them sells on the Apple products? Have classic games officially on the iPhone would bring in money still and we would still have new, full fledged games on the 3DS.
Other companies might have interest in Nintendo tho, Someone like Facebook, Could they let Nintendo be Nintendo? Help promote the company as a whole to let them live on? Or would be just see Mario and co show up on FarmVille(is that still a thing?) or could Facebook open an eShop as well? or even bring Nintendo titles into the Oculus Rift world?
I'm not too sure why this story/idea/whatever it is popped into my head but what do you think the future holds for Nintendo?
Will the Mario Kart bundle help boost sales? Can Smash Brothers make this holiday system something Nintendo can be proud of? or will Nintendo still be the ugly step child to Sony and Microsoft come January? Or worse....

Summer Movie Wager Info
Hello Ladies and Gents, The "2014 Summer Movie Wager" is about to kick off, I want to get my picks in before the Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes out since for most folks that is the official kick off of the Summer Movie season.
But before I do that, Let me give you some info on the SMW.
If you are not aware of it we have some rules we will go over but also let you know it runs from the first week of May until August 29th, typically people will not pick anything from the final week of release.
You never know what will happen either, a few years back I had GI Joe 2 on my list only to have it pushed back after i posted my list, so I completely missed out on points with that pick.
Several years back one of my favorite shows ever(The Totally Rad Show) introduced me to this little game and they gave credit to Time Travel Reviews so I shall do the same(link posted below).
The rules are as follows:
You pick the top 10 movies released between May and August, Counting only the money the films make domestically( US & Canada) Number 1 is the film you believe will make the most money during that time period and so on down the list.
You will also have 3 more "Dark Horses" films you can pick that you THINK might slip into the top 10, But don't have total faith in them.
The Scoring:
• Getting number 1 or number 10 dead-on gets you 13 points (each).
The rest of the scoring goes like this:
• 10 points for numbers 2-9 dead-on
• 7 points if your pick was only one spot away from where it ended up
• 5 points if it was two spots away
• 3 points if your pick is anywhere in the Top 10
• 1 point for each dark horse that makes it into the Top 10
The scoring is tabulated so that you get the SINGLE HIGHEST point value for each pick- that is, if you get number ten right, you don’t get 13+3, you only get 13.
Once September 1 hits, We will make the official post/winner of the Summer Movie Wager. Of course we can always check in each week to see how people are doing on the Wager as well, but since not all films come out at the same time, it might be unfair to crown someone before its all said and done.
Of course you post your movies and can not edit them after you have submitted them, Please feel free to post your picks in the comment section here or on 2 Sense.

Slow week in April 14
New Release Tuesday is here!
...& passed again but here is what's new, On the week of April 22nd 2014!
Actually not much came out this week, Mostly re-releases of classics on Blu Ray like Get Carter(s), Sorcerer and others.
Bettie Page Reveals All: Its a slow week but this is something that did catch my eye as Bettie Page was someone i kind of learned of as a teen and thought was really interesting with her pin up style, Of course not for everyone but this film is a documentary with real interviews(taped before her death in 2008.) She tells her life story from being one of six kids in her family, High school and her 50s pin up career and the retirement in 1957 at the top of her modeling career. Also talks about her marriage and affairs, nothing really seems to be buried in this Doc. Which peaks my intreats to learn about the born-again christian and her cult following. A must see for this guy.
Big Bad Wolves: Not going to lie i had not heard of this until this week but seeing that it is a Thriller/Drama the plot outline of three men crossing baths during a series of brutal murders, The Father of the newest victim, The Detective breaking the laws in search of answers and the suspect is a man of religious studies. It just catches my eye and with a week with such few films out maybe tis worth a try?
Thats what I have this week for film, But always remember if anything explore, find something you have not heard of, no reason not to give ti a try.
Video Games
Lego The Hobbit: Hitting Wii U this week. Yet another lego adventure but no harm in this right?
Octodad: Deadliest Catch: The PS4 finally gets its HUGE(to some) indie release they have been waiting for, I do plan to give it a try but i must say i never understood the hype for this game but i do enjoy and try my best to support the Indies.
NES Remix 2: The second random yet crazy flash back to the old school NES days is now out on the Wii U.
Trials Fusion & Dark Souls II both hit PC this week as well.
Also out this week Demon Gaze for PS Vita.
So this was a very slow week for both Movies & Games but always remember to try something new or turn this time into catch up time.
.
Until next time, Watch, Game & Release your mind.

Some April Releases
New Release Tuesday is here!
Annnnnnd gone… Today might be April 16th, 2014 but we can still talk about yesterdays new releases.
The Secret life of Walter Mitty: Some folks called this the next Forrest Gump, Im not too sure how that turned out for Ben Stiller and co but My guess is they failed to reach THAT high. Staring and Directed by Stiller this is based off James Thurbers story of a day dreamer who leaves reality to into a world full of romance and action, But once his real world life is in danger(or his job) he must make the day dreaming more of a reality. One film still on my to see list.
Ride Along: When I saw the preview for Ride Along all I could think is “Wow Kevin Hart has found a lot of work” which is alright with me as He is typically pretty funny but this isn’t his stand up its a motion picture also staring Ice Cube who plays a hot head cop who finds his sisters boy friend (hart) as just some nerdy high school security guard thats not worth his sisters time. To prove James(Ice Cube) wrong he joins the Academy and hopes to earn the respect, Thus comes the ride along to prove if he has what it takes to protect the woman he loves, and one crazy night… Should be a fine random rental for the night.
The Nut Job: The kids movie of the week is an animatied action/comedy of squirrels and others fuzzy creatures. Staring Will Arnett as the voice of Surly the crazy squirrel and his rat buddy plan to heist the nut store. If you have kids you have more than likely already have it on the to see list. Also staring Liam Neeson/Jeff Dunham/Brendan Fraser and others.
Also out this month:
Anchorman 2: I actually enjoyed the first film even if it is a Will Ferrel film, But the rest of the cast just blended pretty well and I look forward to seeing them together again. Ive heard mostly negative about it which scares me a bit but it is a comedy after all.
47 Ronin: It came and went in theaters and I already feel the same about it on DVD, But it did have something about it that made me wanna see Keanu kick some butt once again.
The Hobbit 2: Yeah thats not the name but everyone really should have already seen and known about this fantasy film, Plus the Lego Hobbit is out this month as well.
Grudge Match: De Niro and Stallone think they both still have it, Im not too sure if this is the best film to try and prove that. Kevin Hart also appears in this film as well. If you enjoy these guys and Boxing it will already be on your list but i don’t think it has enough depth to catch others attention.
This month has been a busy one for me so maybe some catch up on Video Games is a need. From PS+ releases, Games on Gold & new releases heres what April has brought us thus far!
Mercenary Kings: The free PS+ game of the month for the PS4 might not be for everyone(that seems to be how it has gone thus far) But this is one game that is right up my alley. I have great memories as a kid playing Metal Slug in the arcades, Funny to think back on it because it was always during my family vacation/camping trip….the camp ground had an arcade in the shop and I found myself playing Metal Slug for hours…Thats bad now I know ha but I loved that time. Anyways MK has that same style and even has the graphic design that metal slug had but seems to be a bit more deeper come story and items. You can even craft items which alone gives it more depth than Metal Slug. If you enjoy the side scrolling shooting games or just happen to have a PS4 and enjoy free stuff it is a must.
The Elder Scrolls Online: It has already had some mixed reaction but honestly who would expect anything more from a new MMO? Even if it is based on the super popular RPG series of the same name(Elder Scrolls) it still faces a huge up hill battle against World of Warcraft and even offline RPGs like its own brother Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The thing is it is fresh meat in the MMO world so people will give it a try and so will fans of the ES series. The thing that hurts me in this release is the fact that the game is $60 and you still have the Monthly fee(yes the first month is included in that $60 price tag) of $15 which seems to be pretty steep for me to try and jump on at this point in time. But if MMOs are your thing, why not test the new waters?
Kinect Sports Rivals: A new game for the Xbox One and its to try and showcase the newer Kinect, Fans of the 360 version of the Kinect Sports series should still find some pleasure this time around, New owners of the Xbox One might also want to try something out that uses the Kinects motion sensor and what better than a sports/party game? Just remember to have a decent amount of room to play or you might break a leg o_O;
Lego The Hobbit: A family fun series steps back into the JRR Tolkien world of little people and giant spiders, tree folks and other Fantasy creatures. Not much for me to really say because I feel like the Lego games just keep popping out all over the place, I do have to say because of how enjoyable and fresh the Lego Marvel game felt the new Hobbit might be worth it even if you are “over” Lego games at this point.
Of course their are plenty of other games that have come out between these titles above and by all means explore the choices and let me know what YOU think is worth our time to play.
Until next time, Watch, Game & Release your mind.

Newest Mind Releases(3/18/14)
New Release Tuesday is here!
It's Tuesday March 18th 2014 and that means new releases are here!
American Hustle: The big release of the week was a very talked about film during the Oscars with stars like Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and more. The movie is about a Con man named Irving Rosenfeld and his lovely lady friend Sydney Prosser(Amy Adams) are forced into working with the FBI agent Richie Dimaso(Bradley Cooper) who helps them find trouble with Powerbrokers and the Mafia. If you really don’t know what the film is about you have been living under a rock as of late. with this cast and the oscar buzz it shouldn’t be a surprise rental it should be a need to watch. As it is for me a Need to see.
Frozen: One of the most talked about kids films in awhile let alone most talked about Disney animated film in years(Not a Pixar film here folks) Frozen tells the story of Anna a fearless girl who finds her self partnered up with the mountain man Kristoff and his good ol sidekick Sven the reindeer, They embark on a journey together in search of Anna’s sister Elsa, The Snow Queen who has put a spell on the Kingdom. During their journey they encounter Olaf the snowman and plenty of other craziness in this must seen kids adventure for the whole family.
Saving Mr. Banks: A film at first glance I expected plenty of Oscar buzz but that seemed to fall short as the film hit the big screen. Not to take away from the over all movie it was still a slight shock to me. Saving Mr. Banks is based on true events that tells the story of how Mary Poppins became a Disney classic.
Walt Disney(Tom Hanks) promises his daughters that he would make a movie out of their favorite book, Mary Poppins which was written by P.L. Travers. After years of trying to get the writes for the film, P.L. Travers finds herself at Disneyland in 1961 fighting for her story that means so much to her. The film has more than one storyline as we also travel to her childhood and see who Mr Banks is. The reason for me to see the film is Tom Hanks as walt Disney. I found Emma Thompson as a horrible old hag which she played amazing. Not for everyone but if you love Disney or Poppins this should be a must watch.
Also out this week:
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom: Is a film that ttys to tell the story of South African President Nelson Mandela’s autobiography. It tells the story of his life from early ages to coming of age and his 27 years in prison before becoming the President and rebuilding the society of his country. Staring Idris elba as Nelson Mandela.
Kill Your Darlings: Mr Harry Potter(Daniel Radcliffe i mean) stars as Allen Ginsberg set during the poets early years at the Columbia University and focusing on the murder investigation that involved Ginsberg. Ben Foster plays another writer in William Burroughs that becomes friends with Ginsberg and Dane DeHaan plays the love intrest between Ginsberg and David Krammer. Krammer later dies and brings the other in as potential suspects.
This week in video games looks to bring a popular stealth series to the next gen systems and then some, Along with a HD Remake of one of my favorite games of the PS2 gen.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster: I was a huge fan of FFX on the PS2 and was actually the last Final Fantasy i fully played, I would love to have the time to play it on the PS3 and if i had a vita do the cross play stuff but sadly I don’t have the time for such a long game. I never did play X-2 and it has a huge fan base so this would give me a reason to go back and play it….If only i had a vita.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zero: Call it a demo or a game whatever it is the fanboys will no doubt eat it up thanks to the Name and even the lower price tag. The Lack of game time might bug some but the thought of just a beautiful tech demo might be enough for some to dive into Ground Zeroes on PS4 and Xbox One(along with PS3 and 360) The game is helping bridge the time until Phantom Pain is finally out. If you find yourself a fan of the series you more than likely already played and beat it before even finishing this read.
Infamous: Second Son: The first “must have” title for the PS4, Microsoft saw their must have title for their Xbox One come out last week(TitanFall) and now Sony can say that the PS4 is here to play with their first real next gen system seller in the third Infamous game. Not out until Friday the 21, Sony is hoping for a big weekend for this new system. I believe it might be the first game i finally buy for my PS4, how about you?
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z: Ever want to be a Cyborg ninja who slaughters the undead for a living? Well this might be the game for you! Brought to you from Team Ninja and Keiji Inafune, Time to slice and dice with your sword and blow some undead monsters up with your Cyborg arm.

Looking forward to TitanFall 2
As we come closer to the end of week one of Titanfall's release for PC and Xbox One most folks are still trying to learn the maps and burncards but I have to say All I've been thinking about is features I want to see in the next Titanfall even if it is years away.
Well that is ten things that jumped into my head as I typed, some of it was things i couldnt stop thinking about as i played Titanfall and others not until I tried to put this list together. What am I missing or what are you wanting in the next TitanFall?
One thing is for sure... I'm Looking forward to Titanfall 2 thats for sure.
- Destructible environments: No way I could be alone in wanting this in the next installment, By the time titanfall 2 is out It will be Next Gen(well current by then) only unlike the first game, So I would think they will have enough time and power to figure out how to let me blow up buildings and whatever else i can see in front of me.
- Customized Characters: I still dont understand how they left this out, I understand they gave us a few different pilot skins but only giving us 3 titans and no way to change the colors or anything just makes me wish we could tell one another apart more so in the game.
- Offline/In-Depth Campaign: Titanfall is a multiplayer game only but at the same time it has a "campaign" that lasts about 2 hours, its nice that we have something but I just feel like the world is very limited in what it could truly be if we had more depth or an offline story to create these characters and the world they live in. I understand plenty of folks will bring this up, As they should.
- Burn Card Options: I really have started to enjoy Burncards and they seem to have been the replacement to say Killstreaks, Some might disagree and some may want killstreaks add to the next game but I want them to build upon the burncard system one thing that stood out to me is the lack of selling or trading burncards among friends. Which leads me to...
- No MicroTransactions: When i say sell burncards I do not mean with real money or having to pay EA for burncards or anything else for that matter and I dont want to see them add this to the next installment.
- Bungie like site: I remember loving the bungie website for halo, Always seeing my stats and easily matching it up with friends or viewing the areas of the map i seen to die in the most or whatever other stat i could find. I believe this is more on EA's side of things i would guess but it would be very cool to see more stat systems installed.
- Customized Maps: Its always fun to have a map creator right? No reason not to want them to add it in next time around, Add in being able to download and share them easy like LittleBigPlanet and a few other games.
- Custom Loadouts: This might be cheating because it is already on its way via update some time down the line. But how could they not have had this ability in the game at launch? Cant wait to remember which loadout is what without looking at each.
- SmartGlass: We know it will come sooner or later....But this might be what I was looking for in the Bungie like site, with the stat tracking and everything. But hopefully they find other good ways to take advantage of SmartGlass.
- More Playlists: You know they will add new modes and I cant wait to see them, But it would be nice to see them allow the player to make and share game modes as well.
- Now dont get me wrong, So far I have been loving Titanfall, I had put in several hours into the beta and have already put multiple hours in since retail release. Ive hit level 35(I know plenty have already hit max and then some) Which says a lot for me, Typically a game doesn't get say 10 hours of my time and Titanfall has surpassed that and then some already. I just always think about the future and what I would like to see happen down the line. This Post was not suppose to bash the first titanfall or anything like that. It was just me having fun thinking of stuff that could make a great game(series?) even better.
